Editorial Standards, Corrections and Complaints
Mean Time to Lead Podcast with Manish KapoorLast updated: September 25, 2026.
01Our standards
- Independence. The show is independent and non-commercial. No one pays to appear, and no one buys coverage. Guests’ commercial interests (their company, book or product) are disclosed on air and in the show notes.
- Accuracy. Statistics are cited by source on air and linked in the show notes. The host checks every figure before recording. When something is the host’s own research, we say so.
- Originality and attribution. Scripts and show notes are written in our own words. Quotes are short, attributed and linked. Frameworks and ideas are credited to their originators. We use only music, images and clips we have a licence or permission to use.
- Confidentiality. Neither the host nor guests discuss confidential employer, client or third-party information. The host doesn’t discuss any past or current employer’s or client’s engagements.
- Fairness. Guests see topics in advance. Edits never change a guest’s meaning. When we criticize a named company or person, we stick to public facts and give context.
- Security responsibility. We discuss publicly disclosed vulnerabilities and incidents for defense and awareness. We don’t publish exploit instructions or non-public vulnerability details.
- AI use. We may use AI tools for transcription, editing and research support. A human reviews everything published, and opinions are the host’s and guests’ own.
02AI-use disclosure
We use software tools, including AI-assisted transcription, editing and research support, to produce this show. The host reviews all content, and opinions are the host's and guests' own.
03Corrections
- Material errors (a wrong fact, figure, name or attribution): we fix the show notes and transcript within 2 business days and add a dated correction note. For serious errors, we also correct the audio or add a spoken correction in the next episode.
- Minor errors (typos or formatting) are fixed without a note.
04Complaints and takedown requests
- Email hello@meantimetolead.com with the episode, the timestamp and the issue.
- We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 10 business days.
- Guest requests: before publication, we honor good-faith requests to remove confidential slips or factual errors. After publication, see section 8 of the Guest Release.
- Copyright complaints: handled under the Terms of Use, section 8.
- Legal threats: don’t argue. Acknowledge receipt, preserve the files, and pass the matter to an attorney.
05Records we keep
For each episode, keep for at least 3 years:
- the signed guest release;
- the raw recording, with the spoken consent;
- the final edit;
- the fact-check list;
- music and asset licences; and
- any correction or complaint correspondence.
